Megalgait was the second of Harom’s fortress cities that blocked the path to Highspire.
Much of Megalgait was built into the Nullfoot Mountains, using the stone slopes of the natural formations as the city’s own walls.
Megalgait’s most defining feature were its two enormous iron gates, which the city was built around. Both gates needed to open in order to allow passage from Stone Blige Pass into Highspire, or vice versa.
Megalgait was also fortified by a legion of armoured golems, enchanted to awaken if one of Megalgait’s two gates were breached.
