Packs of Snack
The Pack of Snack
The Pack of Snack was a coveted award given out to a lucky few as grand prizes during the Snack Pack Festival.
Function
A Pack of Snack was an extraplanar storage device that used The Empty Plane to store what was approximately a year’s worth of food within it. Packs of Snack were created as highly sought-after prizes for draws, games, and other competitive festivities that transpired during the Snack Pack Festival.
As pre-Greybox extraplanar storage devices, Packs of Snack couldn’t be used to store new things within after being first made.
Appearance
Packs of Snack took on the appearance of the legendary mascot of the Snack Pack festival—the titular Snack Pack itself. Packs of Snack were typically made from leather and dyed red, and a comical pair of eyes were either stitched or painted on. Skillful artisans could enchant the eyes to move about, giving the pack a semblance of life.

Snack Pack (Character)
Snack Pack is the fictional character and icon associated with the Snack Pack Festival. Snack Pack was told to be an animated red dyed leather bag with eyes. It would hop about from location to location, generously providing food to those who were hungry.
Folklore Origin
The character of Snack Pack was a folk tale originating from Danthol. The tale spoke of a dying village on the brink of starvation. Two fishermen set out to try and save their people by fishing for enough food to feed them, but their luck is down—no matter how hard they try, they cannot catch enough fish.
As despair begins to overwhelm them, a talking, animated fishing net emerges from the water, asking why the fishermen look so sad. After explaining their situation, the net offers to help the fishermen by catching fish. With the help of the net, the fishermen catch an exorbitant amount of fish, saving their village.
Mutation & Spread Across Legere
Danthol’s fish-focused version of the story changed as it spread throughout other regions of Hohm. The story remains mainly the same, but the form of the animated helper changes to match the type of food it provides. Eventually it would settle on the form of the Snack Pack—a bag that can hold any type of food that aligns with the cuisine of the culture telling the story.
During the Demon Wars, the Snack Pack was celebrated widely by the United Legerian Forces as a break in the fighting. After the war ended, Snack Pack ended up associated with The Creator, who sent Snack Pack as an emissary to bless all Legerians with the bounty of Heaven.
