Michael was one of the seven Archangels that served as emissaries of Creation throughout the multiverse. Specifically, Michael was tasked with the governance and protection of the world of Legere, as well as Core.

Michael was the archangel of both Core and Legere, among other worlds. Although the identities of the other archangels remained unknown to Legerian scholars, records of Michael’s words suggest that the jurisdiction of a realm above other realms called the Base Dimension was under the jurisdiction of an angel named Gabriel.
