This is a timeline of significant events that happened on Legere.

The Legerian United Calendar

Info

The Legerian United calendar consisted of 10 months, each with 35 days; a Legerian year was 350 days long.

Storm Year

Legere had an interesting climate partially dictated by fields of magic that pulsated periodically. Every 5 years, a “Storm Year” would occur—a period of harsher climate.

A simple way to remember: every year that ends in 9 or 4 is a storm year!

A Storm Year manifested differently in various locations. For example, in Nungul/Destral, Storm Years were characterized by an intense, thick, obfuscating fog.

History

While different Legerian cultures had different calendars before the Demon Wars, the start of this world-shattering event necessitated the allies across Legere to share a common calendar to coordinate military operations.

Usage

The Legerian United Calendar continued to be used by all of Legere after the Demon Wars. Prior history of Legere was also modified to fit into the calendar.

Eras

Legerian history was divided into 2 eras: Praestructum Bellis Daemonium and De Heroes Temporis.

  • Praestructum Bellis Daemonium, or PBD, was the time period before the Demon Wars. Different nations and cultures before the Demon Wars used their own methods of tracking time and the years, but following the Demon Wars, the united efforts of Legere to repel the Demons caused a retroactive fitting of historical events into this chronological system. The years were PBD are counted backward; 32 PBD would have happened after 300 PBD.
  • De Heroes Temporis, or DHT, was the time period following the start of the Demon Wars. Year 0 would have been the year the war started, and each subsequent year was the year relative to that start date.

493 PBD Vile Comet strikes Dawn Isle, causing The Calamity.

The

470 PBD Amaranthine Reaping ravages Legere, and scours Fereina almost completely of civilization.

The

385 PBD - 370 PBD Mundane War.

The

370 PBD

369 PBD Corgath officially declares itself independent from the withering Cuprum Kingdom.

200 PBD The Eastern Provinces are fully united under the leadership of the Ganpoumi Fi.

37 PBD - 36 PBD Ancients arrive on Legere through the Heaven Egg Rain.

35 PBD Anton arrives on Legere.

13 PBD Ladodon the First and Archoth the First are born in Dorfeld.

260 DHT Songkram rebels are born from a schism in leadership over the Holy Pact of the East.

The

263 DHT Songkram commission Imperator Hyperius to make Thundersteel weapons for them to use to overthrow the Ganpoumi Fi. The weapons would never be received.

The

265 DHT - 268 DHT Eastern Civil War.

The

268 DHT Songkram officially take over control of the Eastern Provinces, becoming a new empire.

The

274 DHT Archangel's Heroes' first generation forms.

The

275 DHT Dark Lord Pitch leads the Body of Baal to enact an evil plan in Nokkville. The Archangel's Heroes ally themselves with the Heroes of Nokkville to stop the plan, becoming incredibly famous across all of Legere.

The

282 DHT Pitch is resurrected as an unholy undead necromancer and began to gather power within his crypt in the north of Corgath. The Archangel's Heroes regroup to face him.

296 DHT

298 DHT Bureau of Classified Arcana officially splinters off of the Arcane Hand following the crisis in Talczelava.

The

309 DHT Archangel's Heroes fall prey to the Ultimate Evil's deception and disappear from Legere. Evil begins to surge throughout the land.

The

310 DHT Archangel's Heroes become the evil Fallen Heroes and begin constructing their Fell Bastions across Legere.

The

314-315 DHT Spear of the West Campaign.

The

314 DHT The Pharaoh wages war against a famine and drought-weakened Jinifar with his undead army. Jinifar is destroyed, displacing hundreds of refugees who escape through Siman.

315 DHT Sect of Cal begins its operations before being stopped by unlikely heroes.

An organization known as the

329 DHT

  • Jado’s vigilantism across The Eastern Provinces leads to the collapse of its lucrative drug trade, sparking unrest throughout adjascent criminal organizations, like the Riptide Ring and the Umbraguild.
  • Cev’s tormented rampage across the Eastern provinces created the legend of the Scoke.

330 DHT Archangel's Heroes is created and puts an end to the Fallen Heroes.

The second generation of

331 DHT - 333 DHT Archangel's Heroes face the Dark Heroes in a multitude of skirmishes and adventures across Legere. The second generation of Archangel's Heroes begins drafting new members into their ranks to create the third generation.

The

331 DHT Umbramancer known as Zak enslaves the Shadowkeep and leads the Dark Heroes and the Ebon Alliance.

The

333 DHT Legerian War.

The

337 DHT The Pharaoh is defeated, he defiantly detonates his Pyramid's core, destroying himself a tearing open a portal to The Void. The Archangel's Heroes contend with a destructive wave of Voidspawn that attempt to overrun Legere.
