The proud people of Cuprum lived upon the Dawn Isle, growing strong off of the land’s rich resources while frequently contesting the lands across the ocean in order to prove the might of their elite warriors. The Cuprum Kingdom was destroyed nearly overnight with the arrival of a monstrous extraterrestrial beast, and has since been relegated to a wandering group of survivors- the Cuprum Nomads.

Ethnic Groups

Before The Calamity, the Cuprum Kingdom was populated exclusively by Humans. Very rare Naga populations could be found there, but were few and far between due to the constant war being waged against them.

After the Calamity, the Cuprum Nomads were exclusively human.

Cuprum

The Cuprum humans of Dawn Isle were tall, stout, and impressively built. They had pale skin, often dotted with freckles. Male Cuprum were known to have a surplus of body and facial hair. Said hair was thin and dense, often with a light brown, blonde to pale blonde, and ginger.

Cuprum eyes were characterized by their piercing blue or green colours.

Cuprum Nomads

The remains of the once mighty Cuprum Kingdom. The Cuprum Nomads consisted of the descendants of all who were fortunate to survive the |plagues caused by the Vile Comet and ensuing anarchy over what little resources were left. Knowing that only together they could survive, the Cuprum Nomads banded together to create a hardened group of people-the only people strong enough to survive the cruel, unforgiving Dawn Wastelands.

The Cuprum Nomads were sometimes said to live at a location called “Camp Cuprum,” however this was simply the name that the Nomads bestowed upon their current encampment. As their name suggested, they were always on the move, trying to make the most of what little resources are yielded by the Wastelands. There were docks on the East coast of the Dawn Wastelands, and the Nomads made their way there once a year to trade with outsiders who sailed there.

Language

Eirtung

Eirtung was the language written and spoken by the Cuprum Kingdom and its residents. An offshoot of the language evolved to become Corgathian following the independence of the colony into the Corgathian Kingdom.

Runic Writing

Eirtung was a language of runes, with each symbol in a phrase corresponding to a concept or idea. The library of Eirtung runes was vast, since Eirtung was a hyper-specific language with rune-words dedicated to exceedingly complex and intricate ideas.
