Divine Naga’s Kingdom

The close proximity of lava lakes meant that Hydrisikk sightings were a common occurrence for those who lived in Hysh’hisal cities. For the naga who worship these gargantuan serpents1, it made this place extremely spiritual. Many naga made pilgrimages to this land, and the (relatively) neutral Hysh’hisal people welcomed them to visit.

The closest thing to a “neutral” realm within the naga’s lands was the Hysh’hisal kingdom. Hysh’hisal was seen as a religious capital, home to priests and caretakers who commune with the Hydrisikk. Engaging in war with the Hysh’hisals was often seen as taboo, and could cause all other factions to turn on the offending party. Hysh’hisal had a strained relationship especially with Hisgess because they had tried many times to assimilate Hysh’hisal into their own lands. Each time they were repelled by the Hysh’hisal’s more than capable warriors, and then forced to retreat and defend their homeland by Lus’hisal and Hiskrallion forces at their doorstep.
