As a nakai student, Jado showed average proficiency in his training, but had a ravenous desire to rise to the top of his class and garner the respect of master. Jado tried extremely hard to graduate not just as a nakai, but as a member of a master’s biyuan. Unfortunately, sloppy performance during Chatakerm ensured that while he would pass, he would not receive the honours he had dreamt of.
The success Jado did achieve was empty, a beautiful fruit with hollow innards. Just a few weeks before his graduation, the Songkram-Phovezila war of 315 DHT came to an end, and there were no major conflicts happening across the Eastern Provinces. With no “glorious battle” to fight in, Jado was tormented by the blood he shed to graduate and grew disillusioned with the monotonous policework that he was assigned. Jado disappeared from the Songkram’s forces, choosing to wander across the Provinces in an attempt to find his own glory. He became a vigilante, defending civilians that the Songkram neglected to protect. His actions earned him the moniker of Inuzumatako, named after the fearsome creature of the same name.
Along his adventures, Jado discovered a cache of Thundersteel blades, and took them to a nearby weaponsmith to have them fitted into weapons. Although it took some time to master their magical powers, he was able to greatly augment his vigilantism with these weapons in hand.
