Rock Worm

A worm that burrowed through the ground, using its tunnel-bore head to dig through rock. They were filled with magical enzymes that allowed easy burrowing through nearly all substances.

Rock worms could grow up to a meter in length. They were parasites, feeding primarily on the blood of organisms much larger than itself. Hydrisikk were one of their main hosts. Rock worms would use their tunnel boring abilities to penetrate the stone armour of these giant serpents before nestling in and beginning to suck their blood.

Naga found rock worms extremely annoying as they put holes in much of their architecture, causing buildings to become unsafe and hole-ridden. Occasionally rock worms would pose threats to the foundations of surface-level buildings, but oftentimes they preferred the warmer temperatures found in deeper depths.
