The legend of the Green Man spoke of a giant, knife-wielding elder forest god who used his oversized dagger to kill the wicked and bestow life to the just.
The Cult & Church of the Green Man #
While the Green Man was initially a folk tale, a cult of Robin Hood-esque biomancers formed, stabbing oppressive nobles while providing healing services to the poor. After several years of cult activity, the Cult of the Green Man began to revere the Green Man as a deific figure, becoming the Church of the Green Man. The church disbanded during the Demon Wars, with their religious views shattered by the arrival of the Angels.
