Sir Ladodon the Second

Ladodon II was the great-great-great-great-great-great grandson of Ladodon of Dorfeld, a warrior who was called to arms during the Demon Wars at a young age. Ladodon II was raised primarily by his mother in Northeast Walwhite. He'd heard many stories passed down by his family, telling of the daring exploits of his elder patriarch fighting the Demons alongside the Angels and the Ancients of legend. Ladodon's forefathers had all been members of the Cornerstone Foundation, a group of like-minded individuals who feared what demonic relics left from the Demon Wars could do if wielded by the wrong people. This organization made it their duty to scour Legere for these unholy artifacts and lock them away safely. Once the Holy Knights of the Righteous Fort established themselves, this old organization (which was already crumbling due to a lack of success and increasing irrelevancy due to people forgetting about the horrors of that war) finally disbanded as the Knights would take over what their original purpose was.

Ladodon's family had retired from the business of protection of Legere from the supernatural for many years following the Cornerstone Foundation's dissolvement, but Ladodon was determined to return to his forefathers' roots.

Ladodon II joined the Righteous Order in his youth, almost mirroring the young age that his great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was when he joined the Demon Wars. He proved to be an exceptional combatant, quickly surpassing the ranks of his peers. Ladodon rose to captain status within the ranks of the paladins, and commanded tremendous respect from those throughout the Righteous Fort.

It wasn’t until many years later that Ladodon and his childhood friend Archoth were visited by a messenger Angel. The Angel instructed them to travel across Legere and find those who were destined to become a new type of warrior: a Hero of the Archangel. A divine initiative that would soon dictate the fate of Legere.

Archoth and Ladodon departed from their order, and travelled westward to recruit four more individuals to join their cause.

Physical Description #

Ladodon had pale skin, which caused his constant blushing to become extremely obvious on his cheeks. In battle, Ladodon's face would typically flush red.

Ladodon's strawberry-blonde hair was long and unkempt, although he starting cutting it short after starting his career as a Hero of the Archangel.

Notable Skills #

Ladodon was known for his steely focus and his seemingly endless physical stamina. He was extremely good at running and other athletic feats. Ladodon was also one of the most skilled spearmen to walk Legere.

Equipment #

Ladodon wore Fire Iron armour that was gilded with gold, which showcased his prestigious status within the Righteous Order. Unfortunately, this beautiful armour caused no end of trouble with thieves across Legere who saw the armour as a fortune waiting to be taken.

Ladodon also bore the Helm of the Steadfast Oryx--an honorary horned helmet bestowed to Ladodon for his success in his training.

As the activities of the Archangel's Heroes escalated to have them face greater and greater threats, he would be bestowed the Arbiter’s Pride, a pike of silver and gold and infused with divine power.

Personality #

With an impeccable sense of morality and excellent conversational skills, Ladodon had a knack for diffusing situations using words and avoiding violence where it wasn’t necessary. He wielded an extremely dry sense of humour, and was hard to make laugh.

Ladodon loved knitting, which he picked up to honor his late mother, who was a superb knitter herself.

Vices & Personality flaws #

Ladodon often went to great lengths to prevent the casualties of bystanders and other people--sometimes to the point of total irrationality. For example, if sacrificing one individual for the safety of 100 more was a scenario, Ladodon would struggle to not protect the one individual.
