Yetauri
A hulking, muscular monstrosity native to the tops of the Phayu Wing Mountains. This horrifying predator lay dormant in hibernation beneath the snow, conserving energy and slowing down metabolic processes until prey stumbled near it.
Yetauri appeared as a large ball of white fur, which it used to help keep itself insulated against the freezing conditions. They emitted a constant pulsing akin to sonar, which would alert them when something large enough to prey upon moved nearby. Upon this stimulus, yetauri would unfurl themselves, their fur folding back to unveil an enormous, fleshy, pink mouth covered in teeth. Their teeth were long and had spikes on them similar to harpoons, aiding them with the capture of prey. Yetauri’s three eyes were also located inside their mouths, helping them to coordinate their ambush.
Food was a rare occurrence for yetauri, so they’d eat whatever crossed their path. Giant, human, vengeful ewes--anything that traveled far enough up the mountains risked crossing paths with this predator.
