Creation

Potentially Heretical

The information on this page is highly subject to change as we work to define what kind of theological stance we want to take on Legere. Please do not use what is here as a basis for your own faith.

Creation was, as described by the Angels who visited Legere during the Demon Wars, the entire multiverse surrounding the mortal realm of Legere. Sometimes, Creation was referred to as simply "the multiverse". Creation itself was comprised of multiple worlds, also called dimensions or universes. Each world could be visualized as an island floating through an interdimensional sea called The Void.

Multiversal Constants #

Across all of Creation, two things always held true: that which was good and Evil. Goodness and its opposite were not subjectively determined by the mortals of a dimension. Instead, they were inherent to the mind of all sapient beings and defined by Creation's manufacturer--the Creator.

Good

Goodness itself was straightforward, because it was built upon the personality traits of all that the Creator was.

The power of good was called the divine.

Evil

Evil was not created by the Creator exactly, instead having been formed by introducing the absence of all that the Creator was. ![[Ultimate Evil#Evil]]

Mortal Sapients #

Across Creation were creatures broadly classified as sapient. Sapient beings were special among the other creatures within their dimension--they carried with them prominent aspects of the Creator (as a child carries the aspects of their father), and they were endowed with a triune being, a special right given to those favoured by the Creator Himself.

Triune beings' elements were body, spirit, and soul.

Religious Perspectives #

Across all dimensions, fragments of the truth of Creation--namely that it was created by a primordial, all-powerful yet benevolent entity--were revealed through the nature of the world being observed. While the residents of some dimensions interacted directly with supernatural forces (especially in the wake of Demonic incursion) and therefore gained firsthand knowledge of The Creator, many other dimensions simple began to worship yet-to-be fully realized images of Him.

The Fall #

The Fall was a tragic event that occurred nearly simultaneously across all dimensions following the birth of the Ultimate Evil.

![[Ultimate Evil#Origin]]

The Fall was defined by the actions of mortals across all dimensions all at once: with the introduction of Evil by the Evil One, sapient beings on every world were presented with the opportunity to choose between evil and good, and evil--even evil of the smallest kind--was done.

While the Creator had the opportunity to totally snuff out Evil, He allowed it to persist in order to respect the decisions made by His creations. In His justice, the Creator responded with two immediate operations to ensure Evil never won. The first was to introduce death into the world by unleashing memitim across Creation, for an evildoer--no matter how small--could not be allowed to live in perpetuity. The second was to mobilize the other Angelic legions to strike back against the Demons that sought to undo Creation itself. A grander plan to undo Evil entirely was set into motion as well, but until that day, all of Creation would be embroiled in a seemingly endless struggle of good and evil.

The Fall on Legere happened so far back that there are no records of it in recorded Legerian history.

The Base & Transcendent Dimensions #

![[The Void#^13046e]]

The Base Dimension #

The Base Dimension, for lack of a better name, was a reality with such forceful potency that it was impossible for any entity from the dimensions that were encapsulated by The Void to exist in them. Only supernatural entities could pass from the Base Dimension to the others.

Not much was known about the Base Dimension within the wider scope of Creation. Even less about the Base Dimension was understood from the scope of Legere. Passing conversation with Angels revealed small, incomplete portions of knowledge regarding the Base Dimension. The biggest known fact was that the Base Dimension was The Creator's masterpiece, and that every dimension floating through the Void was merely a shallow reflection of the beauty and passion poured into that world by Him.

The Transcendent Dimensions #

The transcendent dimensions were separate from the rest of Creation. In fact, calling them dimensions is inherently misleading because they exist outside of the mortal comprehension of time and space. They were supernatural realms that existed long before [[The Creator]] forged the true dimensions.

Hell #

Hell was a supernatural wasteland world filled with those who decided to indulge the will of the Evil One. It was originally formed by the Creator as a truly empty realm, existing purely to give all creatures the choice to depart from His holy presence.

Once the Evil One corrupted Creation, all manner of mortal creatures began to fall into Hell's pits after their death.

Heaven #

Heaven was the realm of Angels, a brightly lit paradise devoid of any spiritual or physical darkness. Buildings and streets were built of gold, and its residents lived in perfect harmony with each other.

The centerpiece of Heaven was The Creator's Palace, a fortress where The King of Angels Himself ruled the cosmos from. This divine castle was limitless in its size and beauty, and served as the home of all good and noble sapients from higher dimensions resurrected after they had perished.
