Sculptoris
The material responsible for the creation of manikins, carnites, and the infamous Unbirthing. Sculptoris originated from the Festerplains, which originated from the body of the Cyclops.
Sculptoris was a living, fleshy material comprised of hyper-mutagenic, hyper-regenerative cells. Upon the Cyclops' decapitation by the Mendrel, its body rapidly decayed before regenerating in a cancerous fashion. The sculptoris material was the primary substance that made up the Festerplains' recondite structures and dwellers.
Sculptoris had the ability to genetically modify the flesh of other living creatures that it came into contact with. Any organic issue from the animal kingdom was able to be infected by sculptoris, transforming that flesh into more sculptoris.
Use in Weapons #
Sculptoris could fuse, with the help of magic, to metal, allowing it to enhance weapons in bizarre, alien ways. Such weapons were dangerous to both wielder and target, since the weapon was alive and could act of its own volition.
Use in Magic #
The accelerated regeneration of sculptoris made it desirable for obscure and dangerous biomantic arcane paths and spells.

Use in Science #
Phaendar Hironimus Draft experimented with sculptoris as a possible way to clone a younger and less infirm body for himself.
