Destruction #

Hubei was destroyed in 265 DHT when the Songkram marched from Gong into the under-protected capital and laid waste to the city. The Songkram originally intended to take over the capital, but extensive damage from fires and other war implements left the city far too damaged for use. The Songkram did not destroy the city completely, leaving once the government buildings and residences were destroyed, but with no one to repair the city over the next 3 years of civil war, the city would spiral into desolation--its buildings turned to dust and its citizens starved.
