Vulcanserpent
A small, 3-headed snake originating in the treacherous regions surrounding Vulcanis. Like the phoenixes and obsidian scorpions that also inhabit the area, vulcanserpents possessed magical characteristics that protected them from the extreme heat of the terrain they like to live in: a barrier of magical energy insulated them from suffocating ash or burning lava. Vulcanserpent venom was magical, causing flesh to burn as if set alight.
Vulcanserpents were hunted by the people of Vulcanis, their skins used for decorations on countless articles of clothing, armour, weapons and more.
