Gog

Gogs were a species of magical rats that plagued the Cuprum Kingdom. They were incredibly slippery, using magic to teleport and levitate in order to gain access to cellars and other food storage places. Four pairs of eyes ran along their spine, granting them near-360 degree view. This helped them to remain acutely aware of their surroundings, and assisted them with teleportation in all directions.

After the Vile Comet struck Dawn Isle, the anti-magical radiation of The Nether Fountain caused these highly magical rodents to devolve into teeming masses of flesh covered in eyeballs. While horrific in appearance, they were totally docile in nature. Gogs lived to creep over the land, absorbing what plants and flora they could find for nutrients. Often times they were found near the farmlands of wherever the Cuprum Nomads had currently set up their camp. They proved to be annoying pests, constantly trying to assimilate crops. They were easily dealt with by the heavy-handed usage of a weapon (or just a broom). ^baeaf3

Gogs had a seemingly infinite lifespan, as well as infinite potential for growth. As long as food was available, gogs would continue to increase in size until nutrient availability disappears, or it was hunted by something else. Being hunted was a common fate for gogs thanks to their slowness, making them easy pickings for predators like Rôtersik.
