Goblins

A common folktale shared by residents of Legere were stories about “the goblins”. Descriptions of these mythical creatures varied from location to location, with some claiming them to have blue skin or long ears, etc. Goblins were often depicted as magical creatures, involved in tales or fables designed to teach children lessons. Humorously, the duns were called goblins by pioneers before the language barrier was broken and the duns could communicate their kind’s actual name.

Even after the clarity imposed by the Demon Wars, goblins were still used as fairy tale characters. Their existence was called into question every time farmers in rural areas spotted some freeloader eating the barley in the back of their barns.
