Sir Archoth the Second
Archoth’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather was also named Archoth, and shared a similar story to his best friend Ladodon’s family history. Archoth of Dorfeld and Ladodon of Dorfeld were both close friends since childhood, both fought together in the Demon Wars, both conceived sons at the same time, and their ancestors all served in the Cornerstone Foundation. It was truly incredible that the friendship of Ladodon and Archoth persisted seemingly through eight generations, as Archoth II and Ladodon II were as close as their great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfathers were. They both joined the Righteous Order at the same time, training together and being chosen for the Archangel's Heroes together.
Appearance #
Archoth had dark, tanned skin and often kept his black hair in a short buzz cut.
Notable Skills #
Archoth was extremely accurate with bows and slingshots. He was also extremely strong thanks to his extensive training with longbows during his time as a squire in the Righteous Order.
Wielder of The Suppressor #
Archoth was the steward of the Supressor--a holy relic bow designed to fire arrows of light. Divine power swirled along its ephemeral bowstring, disallowing the use of the bow in service of evil or against those who were innocent. The bow required no physical arrows to be carried, essentially granting Archoth unlimited arrows until the bow's power was temporarily drained. As Archoth learned to master the bow, more abilities were granted by it.
Social Connections #
Archoth was a loyal friend to his allies, but especially to Ladodon. He was a little more mischievous than his spear-wielding counterpart, but still as righteous and moral.
Personality #
While Ladodon lacked a decent sense of humour, Archoth was great at making jokes and would laugh at almost anything. He always carried a slingshot with him--a toy from his childhood that occasionally proved instrumental in his victories as a Hero of the Archangel.
Vices & Flaws #
Archoth couldn't, for the life of him, use a crossbow or firearm. He tried multiple times to learn, but failed spectacularly almost every time. Despite being very strong, Archoth’s agility and coordination in close range combat was lacking, making him easier to fight when up close.
Archoth’s loyalty to Ladodon often caused him to follow his friend into risky scenarios, even if Archoth believed it wasn't a good idea.
