Hyperius Tiamus Dominus
Imperator Hyperius was the leader of the Legion of Thunder and became ruler of the Cloudlands in 258 DHT. He was famous for being the creator of Thundersteel, and was the sole individual who knew how to create it. Hyperius was also an extremely powerful storm wizard--an elementalist who had mastered both aeromancy and fulgurmancy. Hyperius' ambitions also led him down the profane path of Aevumancy as he began to realize there was much he wished to accomplish and not enough days in a life to do so.
Outside of his pursuits of the arcane and smithing, Hyperius was a brilliant politician and tactician. However, his love of the former activities led to him mostly delegating such work to his subordinates. In person, Hyperius appeared as an average man with no imposing build or fearsome aspects. Those who had the privilege of meeting the Imperator were often disarmed by how friendly and approachable he was--at least, on the surface. There was still a reason why he was feared across the Cloudlands during his reign.
