Trinatical

A three legged reptile that balanced itself on spike-tipped feet. Trinaticals were child-sized predators that hunted small rodents. They used their sharp feet to skewer field mice, ground squirrels, moles, and other small burrowing mammals.

Trinaticals were grey coloured with bright orange, bony spines coating their bodies and heads. The spikes were useful for protecting the trinatical against larger predators, since they couldn't move as fast as other organisms. They also had a bright orange neck flap underneath their heads. Their heads were humanoid, with completely black eyes. Some people believed that trinaticals and naga were related, although the nag view this as offensive due to their religious beliefs.

As reptiles, trinaticals were cold-blooded and spent lots of time basking in the sun to absorb heat. They were often seen standing completely motionless, like a tripod, in the middle of forest clearings, along beaches, or other sunlit areas.
