Deeptrigger
A scavenger cephalopod found at the sea floor. The deeptrigger had 4 limbs, each with two tentacles extending from them like long wriggly toes. Each tentacle also possessed a mouth at the crotch point where each two tentacles meet. Deeptriggers used these tentacles to crawl over waterlogged carcasses and slowly strip the flesh off of them.
Deeptriggers were eyeless, using specialized sensory organs to detect nutrients instead. They did possess a pair of pointy horns with red markings on them that resembled eyes. Sometimes divers were spooked by these mysterious red eyes staring at them from the depths. Deeptriggers were often found in large groups, meaning they were easily harvested.
Deeptriggers were a popular street food in Sharkville, Icthy’s Rest, and many other coastal regions. They were often found in large groups, meaning they’re easily harvested.
